Barwell Business Questionnaire

As a result of the Sustainable Urban Extensions (SUEs) coming forward in Barwell, Barwell Business Association and Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council are keen to investigate the likely future needs of Barwell businesses in order to be able to provide for their aspirations.
We would therefore appreciate your input and can assure that your responses will remain confidential.

Local elections: results

On Thursday, the good people of Barwell had their say about the future of the village in the local elections.

In the Borough elections, Hazel Smith for the Conservative Party and Mathew Hulbert for the Liberal Democrats were chosen to represent the village.  Villagers also chose to keep David Gould as one of their representatives, whilst Sandra Francks, the most recent Mayor and long-term councillor within the village stood down to pursue other activities.

Building a New Barwell

Barwell is about to get a bit bigger!  There are some great ideas about how we think Barwell could change between now and 2026 – but it’s not just up to us.

Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council held the latest consultation exercise which closed on 18th February 2011, during which time many comments were made to develop the plan further.
